Welcome to Rayon, an independent Open API service providing access to Indonesia's administrative region and postal code data. By accessing or using Rayon (the "Service") available at rayon.practical.web.id, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. General Information

Rayon is an independent project developed to facilitate access to region and postal code data in Indonesia, sourced from nomor.net, based on public regulations (e.g., Kepmendagri RI No. 100.1.1-6117 Tahun 2022). The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

2. Use of the Service
  • Eligibility: To use the Service, you must register with a valid email address and password to obtain an API key.
  • Permitted Use: You may use the API key to access the Service for personal or development purposes, in accordance with these Terms. Usage is subject to request limits, which may vary based on account type. Details on limits are available in your account dashboard.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not:
    • Use the Service for illegal activities or purposes.
    • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or bypass the API key system.
    • Share or distribute your API key to unauthorized third parties.
    • Overload or abuse the Service, such as by sending excessive requests that disrupt its operation.
  • Data Source: All postal code data is sourced from nomor.net. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data provided. Users are encouraged to verify data with official sources.
3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key and account credentials. You must notify us immediately via our GitHub Issues page if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy, or suitability of the Service for any purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rayon and its developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time by discontinuing access and deleting your account.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
